Itinerary
Day 1
HELLO GREECE!
Welcome to awesome Athens! With a friendly face waiting for you at the airport & ready to whisk you back to our hotel, arrival has never felt so easy. The adventure kicks off this evening when you’ll meet your tour leader and the rest of the group. Then, you’ll wind through the alleyways of Athens to a local taverna, where you’ll get to know everybody over dinner. Tzatziki, pita, and a huge plate of souvlaki? Don’t mind if we do!
Day 2
ATHENS
The early bird gets the worm in Athens, and by that we mean the best views of the Acropolis without the crowds! After breakfast, we’ll head to the top of this ancient citadel to explore – with the help of an expert guide – before the heat and tourist throngs arrive. Afterwards, we’ll share a mezze lunch and then you’re free to spend the afternoon however you’d like. The Panathenaic Stadium, the home of the first modern Olympic games, is one of our top recommendation (we’ll have a full set of recs in our pre-trip information pack).
Day 3
PAROS ISLAND
Post-breakfast you’re ferry-bound, hitting the open ocean to reach our very first Greek Island of the trip: Paros! After just 3 hours, we’ll arrive at the island’s main port town, Parikia and then travel on to our home for the next two nights, the whitewashed town of Naoussa. After dropping your things at the hotel – and maybe a dip in the pool – you’ll start the afternoon by exploring some of the wow-worthy towns of the island with expert insight from your guide. In the evening, in the hills perched over Naoussa, we’ll visit an organic farm to learn more about their project and sample their freshly produced snacks and Greek wine. You’d struggle to find surroundings more stunning than this!
Day 4
SMALL CYCLADES SAILING
The sparkling waters around Paros are all too inviting, so today we hop aboard our private full-day boat tour for some sun, sea, snorkel, and sail around the Small Cyclades – a chain of tiny islands off the coast of Paros. Setting off from Piso Livadi beach, the entire day will feel like one big highlight reel as we sail to mesmerising spots like Iraklia, Schinoussa, and Koufonisia, while also enjoying for a freshly prepared lunch on board.
Day 5
SANTORINI
Today we’ll say goodbye to Paros and say hello to the crown jewel of the Greek islands: Santorini! And nope – it’s not just for honeymooning couples. There’s plenty to do on this dreamy island that’ll keep you busy. We’ll stay in the town of Thira, in the heart of all the action, so we’ll use this afternoon to explore its best bits and get an eyeful of those world-famous Santorini views. There’s one thing you can’t miss on Santorini, and we’re saving that for tonight: your first Santorini sunset!
Day 6
FREE DAY
There are a thousand different ways to have a great day in Santorini, so today is free for you to choose what your perfect day looks like. You could head on down to Perissa or Kamari for some well-earned beach time; explore the prehistoric settlement of Akrotiri (and maybe head to the nearby red sand beach afterwards), or spend time sipping local wine and enjoying the views from Thira. It’s your day, so spend it your way (as always, we’ll provide a list of recommendations based on the things we love to do in Santorini).
Day 7
HIKES + SUNSETS
Lace up your boots, because early this morning we’ll embark on the Thira to Oia hike, home to some of the most beautiful views you’ll ever see. This 3-hour trek unveils unparalleled views of the volcanic islands and, since the trek passes along uninhabited areas connecting these two towns, you’ll get to enjoy a quieter side of the island. Afterwards, take the afternoon to recharge because tonight we’re heading out the water in search for our perfect sunset. On our private Catamaran, we’ll be anchoring near the Akrotiri lighthouse, to share a BBQ dinner under the tangerine sky as the sun sets on our final night in Greece.
Day 8
SEE YOU NEXT TIME!
Sadly, our Greek adventure has come to an end, but we’re sure that you had an absolutely unforgettable time! It’s been a week chock-full of amazing memories, from Athens’ ancient allure to the drop dead gorgeous islands of Paros and Santorini. You’ve gorged on fabulous Greek dishes you’ll be desperate to recreate at home, swum in some of the clearest water you’ve ever seen, and raised your glass to countless brilliant sunsets. Let’s not say goodbye – let’s just say “see you next time”!
