    Itinerary

    Day 1

    WELCOME TO SPLIT!

We get things started in Croatia’s second largest city – Split. A buzzing, exuberant portal city perfectly set between dramatic coastal mountains and the turquoise waters of the Adriatic. Upon arrival, we’ll pick you up from the airport and take you back to our centrally located hotel. Ease your way in by wandering the marble streets of split Old Town (be sure to visit Diocletian’s Palace) and then meet the rest of your group at our welcome dinner where you’ll enjoy some delicious Dalmatian cuisine.

    Day 2

    KRKA NATIONAL PARK

Today we take a day trip to the majestical Krka National Park – a stunning stretch of nature filled with beautiful waterfalls, deep gorges, fast flowing rivers and 850 different plant species. We’ll take a private 1.5 hr bus ride to get there and then explore the huge park through a combination of boat ride and hiking some of its picturesque trails. The highlight will be arriving at the Skradinski Buk Falls, a breathtaking collection of 17 cascading waterfalls landing into emerald green waters full of tropical fish. This is a perfect day in nature!

    Day 3

    HVAR + WINE

We’re taking things up a notch as we leave Split and head to the lively island of Hvar (officially Croatia’s sunniest spot) where we’ll spend the next 2 days. We’ll arrive in the morning – via ferry – and then you have some free time to yourself. You could chill by the hotel swimming pool, hit up one of the many beach bars, or go take in the views from the imposing Trdva Fortress. Late afternoon we’ll regroup and head to Hvar’s rustic interior to visit the family run Hora vineyard for a spot of wine tasting and some earthy Peka dinner.

    Day 4

    PAKLENI ISLANDS

Today is an action packed day of sun, sea and good vibes as we cruise around on our private speedboat exploring Hvar’s stunning coastline and neighboring islands. We’ll cruise along the southern coast to see the striking Red Rocks; stop off for a swim in the gorgeous Borce Green Lagoon; enjoy lunch; visit the beautiful Dubovica Beach; sail through the sun-drenched Pakleni Islands; and find some quiet swimming holes along the way. This is exactly what summer in Croatia is all about!

    Day 5

    DUBROVNIK + CITY WALLS

It’s time to make our way to the final location of the trip – and we definitely saved the best for last – as today we travel to the stunning city of Dubrovnik. Affectionately known as the ‘pearl of the Adriatic’, it is a place steeped in history and beauty in equal measure. Filled with baroque style buildings & limestone streets, surrounded by shimmering sea and enclosed with massive stone city walls – it’s a delightful place to experience. We take a 3.5 hr ferry trip to get to Dubrovnik and then spend the afternoon on a walking tour before catching sunset from the city walls.

    Day 6

    FREE DAY

A full day in Dubrovnik to follow your own personal interests. You could choose to simply chill by the hotel pool with its striking views over Lapad bay. Or why not head to one of the many nearby beaches for a dip in those gorgeous crystal clear waters (and watch the local cliff-jumpers in action)! For a completely different side of Dubrovnik you could also take the cable car up Srd mountain or you could even try your hand at Croatian cuisine with a local cooking class. Before the trip we’ll share with you all our favourite hang-outs.

    Day 7

    KAYAKING + DINNER

This morning we’re heading out on kayak and making our way to a small island called Lokrum, located about 600m from Dubrovnik. While there we’ll explore the pretty little island which boasts a Benedictine monastery, botanical gardens, a Napoleonic-era fort and is a sanctuary where peacocks and other wildlife roam free. It’s also a key location for Game of Thrones (if that’s your thing)! In the evening we’ve organised a special dinner back in Dubrovnik’s Old Town for one final meal together before we say our goodbyes.

    Day 8

    UNTIL NEXT TIME

Our Croatia trip has now come to an end and sadly it’s time to go. But what an absolute blast it’s been. We’ve hit the very best spots of the Dalmatian Coast and had a lot of fun along the way. You’ve visited lush national parks, island-hopped your way around the Adriatic, sailed on private speedboats, kayaked, snorkelled, visited centuries old cities, drank wine in rural vineyards and eaten the most delicious of Mediterranean food. All done with an awesome group of new friends you’ve created epic travel memories with. See you next time!

We know that accommodation is important to you and it’s important to us too. We’ve therefore carefully hand-picked a selection of our favourite 3 & 4-star hotels for this itinerary. These are the hotels we typically use (please ensure you are comfortable with them before booking).

Our trip starts in Split (SPU) and ends in Dubrovnik (DBV). You should organise your flights accordingly.

Ideally you should arrive at the hotel by 6pm on the first day. This is when we have our welcome meeting and afterwards go for dinner (although if you arrive later it’s fine to catch up).

If you need help researching flights, contact us at [email protected] or fill out the contact form on this page.

Yes, we can book you in for extra days at either our arrival hotel or departure hotel.

This is up to a maximum of 2 days on either side. If for longer, we suggest you book directly with the hotel.
